What is the best PDU for an S19 Pro Miner?

Which PDU is best suited for the high current demands of an S19 Pro miner?

Best PDU for a S19 Pro

So you have got some sweet S19 new generation miners. What is the best way to hook them up? If you are seeking answers about what voltage configuration to use, check out our other videos about 208V, 240V, 415V, and 480V mining. If you already know your voltage configuration, then you are at the right place.

When it comes to hooking up S19 miners, I know the problem you are facing. Traditional commercial PDUs can't handle the high current demands and breaker outlet banking needed for S19s. Our specially made PDUs for new generation miners all have C-19 outlets. C-19's are 20 amps each and are the largest commercially available IEC standard outlet utilized for electronic equipment. Our PDUs allow the maximum power output of all of its outlets simultaneously. This is great for when new generation miners are released, all of our PDUs will be up to the task.

S19 miners specifically use a dual C-13 inlet vs a traditional C-19 input to achieve the high current input required to run the power supply of the miner. Traditional PDUS don't have the current to power these miners. Still, the best solution is to use a high current C-19 PDU, like our Crypto Slayer 3.0 or Crypto Minotaur, then utilize our specially made splitter cables that turn one C-19 outlet into 2 x C-13s. This reduces the number of PDUS required by half and saves on capital expenses that would be needed to support a traditional PDU setup.

Our Crypto Slayer 3.0, which can power 12 S19 miners and our Crypto Minotaur PDU which can power 24 S19 miners were purpose-built to use these cables and are UL, CSA, and ETL approved.

In short, the best PDU for professional mining operations running S19 miners is our Crypto Minotaur PDU (with our splitter cables) and the best option for home or smaller mining operations is the Crypto Slayer 3.0 (with our splitter cables)

Happy Mining!
